The New York Knicks have been dominant in the playoffs, winning their last six games to put them on the brink of the Eastern Conference Finals.
On Friday night, New York withstood a strong effort by the Philadelphia 76ers, who got Joel Embiid back after the center missed Game 2. Despite that being the first game in Philadelphia this series, the Knicks took further control of the series behind strong performances from Jalen Brunson and Mikal Bridges.
Now, the Knicks are just won win away from a return to the conference finals round. The Knicks have not swept a team in the playoffs since 2000, while Philadelphia hasn't been swept in the playoffs since 2020.
A win for the 76ers would at least extend the series by a game and force the Knicks into a more pressurized situation in Game 5. No team has ever come back from down 3-0 to win a playoff series, but the 76ers hope they can be the first to make history.
