Josh was a very smart kid so not surprised. What was weird is how such a smart kid with so much high level coaching at a young age struggled so much to adjust to the NFL. He just never figured out the speed of the game, it never slowed down for him.

I mean he had 213 total snaps after his rookie season. Just don’t think he was that interested in hanging around the NFL if he wasn’t playing.

he became a pick six machine. Last 120 pass attempts 1 TD 7 picks. It was just weird his whole rookie year I was waiting for the game to slow down. Saw him a bunch in college knew he had flaws, and of course we had terrible WR's and OL his rookie year. But I fully expected him to get better in Miami but he got MUCH worse.
He just never seemed to figure out what was safe to throw in the NFL the speed of the game.

European football academies deselect kids with rich backgrounds. Do not have the desire to put in the work for greatness.

Many, many of these guys have well-off parents. It’s not cheap to go to football camps, play 7-on-7 year-round, get private coaching, etc. I don’t think this is the filter many y’all are thinking.
It definitely is for the big football clubs in Europe and said I could see it being the same for Rosen. That doesn’t mean it a 1 to 1.
But it is a thing.

Totally agree on that. The reason I said it’s not a 1 to 1. European team sign 12 yo boys into their academies so cannot compare the two as a whole.
But still think it could be an explanation for Rosen as he comes from a super wealthy family
