To reach the double-elimination regional tournament bracket, Westfield went 3-0 in pool play, defeating North Providence/Smithfield (Rhode Island), Fairfield (Connecticut) and Brattleboro (Vermont) by scores of 17-7, 7-0 and 9-3, respectively.

Bethel, which also went 3-0 in pool play and defeated Coastal (Maine) in the semifinals to earn its championship tilt against Westfield, will now advance to the World Series in Jamestown, New York.
