I already play pickem's, but can't stand point spread ones. Just too hard. Even without point spread, it is hard to pick over 60% of the games. At least for me in the NFL. I prefer the confidence method more. I even developed a formula for it and finish close to top each year in the college confidence pickems.

Anyone here started a straight or confidence league? I would join that.

So picks are locked well before the actual games not knowing full extent of injuries until Saturday/Sunday morning? Or even last minute change in weather, etc.

Sometimes I don't even have my fantasy lineup 100% until a bit before kickoff.

Just as an example, Lazard, Jenkins, and Bakhtiari are now officially out, I would switch my pick if I could.

If that's the case I will probably not give a second thought about picks, let alone even wanting to even care enough to do this for a whole season.
