Sigh. I guess we may as well start Rosen against SEA. The whole situation has been botched so badly that I don't think that it makes any difference at this point.
While putting Rosen out there with 4 min to play was dumb, the reality is that Bradford contributed mightily to yesterday's losing effort, and its possible that Rosen would have gotten us the win if he would have started against CHI.
That's all I want. Ws. I have a little loyalty to Sam as a former Sooner, but my main loyalty was to the Cardinal's plan of Sam being a caretaker/placeholder for a year, giving Josh a chance to have a Mahome's-like beginning to his career. That's what would have been best for the team, long-term, and that's what I was arguing for. That's what I was so disappointed to see go by the wayside.

This coaching staff is so bad and so inept that I worry about the damage they could do to Rosen. Bradford must be benched. He is not a leader and he plays way too scared for us to ever win a game.
Although McCoy was good for Kyle Orton and Tim Tebow I begin to wonder how much of a role he really had in that.

1. Stay with the original 3-steo/short pass offense because of Seattle's lopsided sack/turnover advantage
2. Take deep shots at weak Seattle corners.
Card defense will have their hands full containing the Seattle run game (Carson) and Russell Wilson's scrambles.
This game might be a good opportunity to give Bucannon more snaps as a Wilson or Carson "spy."

Gotta love Rosen's attitude. It's football not rocket science. I think he will do fine. Give him a few games and he should make the Cards competitive. By the end of the year I think we will see his confidence soar as well as the teams confidence in him.
