#DBacks farm director Mike Bell will interview in-person with #Mets for managerial vacancy, sources tell The Athletic. #Pirates also doing background work on Bell, who is the younger brother of #Reds manager David Bell. Mike, 44, interviewed with #Rangers, #Orioles last winter.

Mike Bell is scheduled to also interview for the #Mets managing job, likely early next week. @Ken_Rosenthal was 1st that Bell will get an interview.

Good for him but sucks for us especially since the farm has really developed the last couple of years. Rizzo is still the one that smarts to this day. Look at what he has done for WAS while we’ve had 3 or 4 failed GMs since he left. Should have made him GM while we had the chance.
