The ESPN power poll has us #2 behind Tampa Bay. They moved Green Bay down a spot to slide us down 1. I was for sure we would be like 4th-5th but I think last night people saw we are really good. I tend to agree. You guys blasting Kyler because of 2 plays. Dude had 444 total yards by himself last night!!! And take away 2 bad passes we easily win. And heck if DHOP catches the 4th down pass right in his hands we win probably.

But the rankings are a collective vote. They kept us at 2 for a reason. We gained something. I look at this way too. The Rams were hungry and had to have that game. Has everything go there way and we have away quite a few easy plays. And they barely won.

lol... they barely won. They led the entire second half, often by two scores and it would have taken two miracles - getting an onside kick and then scoring from 50 yards out with no timeouts left... just to TIE IT.

they barely won. keep the laughs coming Campos.

I told @Redrage that the Cardinals would lose by 14 points.

Just felt like a team that beats you 8 times in a row isn't like to get swept.

We are still ranked 2nd and that means experts didn’t put Green Bay ahead of us. We seem have respect. That’s the jist of this thread. However you think we lost. Experts think we are Still extremely good

2 bad throws and a drop from DHop. We didn’t get blown away. We out played them in my mind other than 2 plays. Constantly moved the ball

Who cares about “rankings”? Rankings don’t determine anything except in fantasyland.

Right now we’re 3rd in the NFC Standings. And that’s an accurate measure of where the team is right now. Which is pretty damn good. But not as good as GB or Tampa. They’ve got experience on us and that could make all the difference.

Well, you live in fantasy land where rankings by sportswriters matter. Much like imagining numerous bad never happened.

I live in a world of reality. Reality is we were down two scores almost the entire second half... in a game “we could have easily won”... where we never even got within 50 yards of being close to a tie in the fourth quarter.

But keep beating your chest about RANKINGS! It obviously makes you feel better.

Bad game but still had a chance. We are feet away from making it 10 - 0 which makes it a total different game. To make it sound like the Rams owned us is not 'reality' the 'reality' is we owned them in LA we beat ourselves in Az.

Our defense looked lost to me...thats what I gained. We got little to no pressure on Stafford, and guys were WIDE OPEN all over the field. It made me think we really need to get JJ back for the playoffs. We need someone pushing pockets and getting QB's nervous.

I will say I think Chandler might be the most held player in the NFL. I could argue he draws at least 5 holding calls per game, but they are rarely called...but nothing we can realy do about that.

Even with the picks, we should/could have won that game. The dropped 1st down pass to Hop cost us 7, and the missed 4th & 1 also cost us points. Just looking at the stats, if we played a cleaner game, we beat them by at least 2 touchdowns. And that's with pathetic OL play. VJ's game plan was awful also. I don't care what some on this board think, I'm praying that our D finishes strong & some idiot team hires him as their HC.

I haven't commented on game since attending it.

1. The first interception in the endzone totally flipped the momentum of the game. After they scored on the next drive, we played from behind the rest of the way. Had we gone up 10-0 or even 6-0 odds are we would've won. IMO.

2. Offensive line had it's worst game of the season. Worse than Carolina. We got whipped.

3. Secondary had it's worst game of the season. Guys running wide open, coverage assignments blown. Whatever they did, they messed with the heads of the secondary all night. Stafford played a great game as well.

4. Not too worried about anyone on our team catching covid from OBJ. We practiced physical distancing with loose coverage.

5. Murray played his ass off. He's the only reason it wasn't a total blowout.

i don't think 6-0 really would have done much. we would have dominated the first half and could have been one play away from the lead being snatched away. 6-0 would have been a moral victory to keep them in the game.

10 - 0 would have put some nice pressure on a team that doesn't respond well to pressure, but unfortunately, that didn't happen.

Rams had two unusual picks. Our D was not good, but our offense smoked them. I am not worried one bit. You have a game every so often where you don't get the breaks and the other team does. We will learn from that loss as we seem to always do. Feel bad for Lions.

I agree on all of this except #5 ish.

Murray was the reason the Cardinals were in the game at the end but his mistakes also screwed the Cardinals. I think there is a great argument that any other QB would've lost this game by 14+ points because of Murray's ability to evade pressure. But he also didn't check down when he could enough and had that horrible interception right to Floyd.

I didn't say he played great. I was commenting on his effort. When it goes bad, it is good to see a QB who doesn't turtle up.

I don't think so either with the way the offensive line just folded.

The reasoning is we had the juice in the first quarter. The energy. Of scoring there is making the assumption we would've kept the big mo.

You could feel and see it. The Rams sideline became alive and electric. We deflated. Before that the offensive line was doing well enough.
