With the 2026 NBA draft now in our rear view mirror, it's time to look ahead. CBS Sports' Adam Finkelstein wasted no time previewing the 2027 NBA draft, which had some interesting projections.
No. 1-ranked class of 2026 prospect Tyran Stokes is slotted in as the number one overall selection, and it'll be interesting to see if he comes into Kansas and dominates right away.
Another interesting takeaway from the mock draft was seeing two Arizona Wildcats in the top five. Finkelstein had highly touted freshman Caleb Holt as the third overall pick, while defensive dynamo senior center Motiejus Krivas was projected at number five.
If both players are indeed worthy of top-five selections in next year's draft, it could mean that the Wildcats are slated for another strong campaign despite the losses of Brayden Burries, Koa Peat and Jaden Bradley in the 2026 NBA draft.
