Last season, Christian Kirk was rumored to be headed to the Pittsburgh Steelers from the Jackosnville Jaguars as a trade piece at the deadline in helping secure a rebuild.
A year later as a member of the Houston Texans, he's killing the team in a stadium he nearly called home.
The Texanslead 7-3 midway through the second quarter over the Steelers, thanks to a C.J. Stroud touchdown pass to Kirk. After a pair of violent runs from running back Woody Marks, Stroud connected with Kirk for a 6-yard pass to make it a four-point lead.

Kirk, who's been quiet for the Texans' passing game during the regular season, has been the go-to weapon for Houston at Acrisure Stadium through the first 20 minutes. On the opening drive, Stroud connected with No. 13 for a 36-yard gain to set up Houston at midfield. Kirk also caught a third-down conversion on the drive to help Houston set up the scoring drive.
Through three drives, Kirk has three catches for 46 yards.
The Texans will begin the second half on offense.
