There was nary a dry eye in the house ahead of the Coca-Cola 600 as Kyle Busch's memory lingered over the Charlotte Motor Speedway thoroughfare three days after his untimely death.
NASCAR pulled out all the stops to pay homage to one of its favorite sons. Busch, a two-time Cup Series champion and the all-time winningest driver across NASCAR's three national series, was celebrated prior to the waving of the green flag.
Busch's Cup Series counterparts filed behind his family — including brother Kurt, wife Samantha and son Brexton. The gesture served as an indication of how Busch's NASCAR family would lift up his grieving family.
NASCAR's latest tribute to Busch proved memorable. Kyle Larson's son, Owen, made a notable contribution to the offering, showing support for his family friends in the cutest way possible.

Kyle Larson's son consoles Kyle Busch's family during Coca-Cola 600
Larson's son, Owen, delivered one of the most touching gestures of support for the Busch family on Sunday evening. Owen pulled away from his mother and sister, walking towards Brexton, who was standing on his own as his mother hugged a family friend.

Predictably, the moment went viral, with spectators praising Owen, his mother and his father for the touching gesture. It was one of several moments that stood out during Sunday's race.
Kyle Busch Coca-Cola 600 tribute
NASCAR honored Busch ahead of Sunday's race, celebrating his accomplishments on- and off-the-track.
In the hours leading up to Sunday's race, Busch's older brother, Kurt, laid white roses on the emblem painted on the infield grass to memorialize the fallen driver.
