On Thursday night, Chase Center welcomed the newest member of the Golden State Warriors to the court with the debut of newly acquired 7-foot-2 big man, Kristaps Porzingis. After being traded to the Warriors from the Atlanta Hawks at the NBA trade deadline, Porzingis missed four games in Golden State as he continued to rehab his Achilles injury.
After practicing and scrimmaging during the All-Star break, the former All-Star big man was set to make his highly-anticiapted debut with the Warriors on Thursday night against his former team, the Boston Celtics. Porzingis came off the bench, checking into the game at the start of the second quarter to a huge ovation from the Chase Center crowd in San Francisco.
Late in the second quarter, Porzingis got on the board as an official member of the Warriors with a dunk at the rim.

After his early dunk, Porzingis showed off his long-distance shooting, burying his first 3-pointer as a member of the Warriors before halftime.
In Golden State's ugly 121-110 loss to Boston, Porzingis finished with 12 points on 5-of-9 shooting from the field with two made 3-pointers to go along with a rebound and an assist in 17 minutes against the Celtics.
