Remember the final two games of the 2022 season in Las Vegas? Pepperidge Farm remembers. Raider Nation probably does too.

Those were the two games the Raiders played after benching Derek Carr to not risk him injuring himself before they could either trade or cut him. And the man who stepped up to start those games was Jarrett Stidham -- the guy the Broncos will now turn to in the AFC Championship game against the Patriots.

This will be Stidham's first start of the season for the Broncos. With that in mind, let's look back at what had Raiders thinking 'What if?' back in Stidham's first career start.

In his first career start, Jarrett Stidham was 23/34 with 365 yards and 3 TDs.

What kind of stats will he put up in his first playoff start?

The Raiders weren't able to win that game, but Stidham gave a tough 49ers team a run for their money, taking the game into overtime before Nick Bosa nailed him as he tried to throw the ball, causing it to flutter in the air where it was intercepted and returned into scoring range of the game winner.

Not having a lot of tape on a guy can make it difficult to gameplan for him. That's part of how the Raiders were able to pull out their win over the Patriots in the season opener this past season.

Stidham has some talent and has started just four games in his career -- two for the Raiders in 2023 and two for the Broncos in 2024. Can he put it all together and stun the Patriots to punch the Broncos' ticket to the Super Bowl? Stranger things have happened.
