The Washington Huskies could get an infusion of talent along the offensive line in the 2027 class over the next few weeks after Rivals' Brandon Huffman logged a crystal ball for Jedd Fisch's team to land the services of three-star offensive tackle Tye Kennedy on Sunday morning.

As the 6-foot-6, 275-pound product of Mountain View High School and son of College Football Hall of Famer and UW legend Lincoln Kennedy, makes his college decision from a final six that also includes Arizona State, California, Michigan, Minnesota, and Utah, the Huskies have long been believed to have a leg up in the pursuit of the legacy recruit.

Ranked as the nation's No. 628 overall prospect and No. 58 offensive tackle by the 247Sports Composite, Kennedy has also taken official visits to see the Cardinal, Utes, and Wolverines, and has the potential to be one of the biggest risers in the 2027 class over the course of his senior year.

Despite being limited to just four games as a junior due to an injury, Kennedy showed off high-end athleticism and movement skills for the position with a frame that can hold plenty of extra weight as he develops in a college strength program.

If he were to pick the Huskies, that athleticism would translate very well into Washington's offense, as he would be the ideal fit at tackle in Fisch's zone running scheme. His film displays the ability to climb to the second level with ease, a critical skill that Switzer and assistant offensive line coach Michael Brewster look for when evaluating potential targets.

Kennedy is set to announce his commitment on Wednesday, July 1, as the Huskies also received crystal balls to land four-star offensive linemen Gecova Doyal and Rashaun Lavata'i from Huffman on Sunday morning.
