The Washington Huskies have extended yet another offer to a linebacker at nearby Bethel High School in 2028 prospect Ioelu Feo, who turned in a strong performance at UW's Top Dawg camp.
That makes position coach Brian Odom and Washington the first Division I program to extend an offer to the 6-foot-1, 200-pound prospect, and could also make him the next in a rapidly growing line of linebackers from the local program to stay home.
Over Jedd Fisch's three-year tenure at UW, the Huskies have been able to secure commitments from a pair of four-star linebackers out of Bethel: Zaydrius Rainey-Sale in the 2025 class, and Ramzak Fruean in 2026. Now, as Odom is able to turn most of his attention to 2028, Feo could emerge as a priority local target for the Huskies.
On film, Feo displays impressive speed and range, which, when combined with his strong eyes and instincts, help him sort through several things in front of him quickly as he breaks downhill to attack run plays and screens. While he traditionally lines up as a true inside linebacker, he also shows some of the same versatility that his predecessors did at Bethel, moving around the formation at outside linebacker, nickel, and even safety.
As he continues to grow over the course of his final two seasons in high school, Feo should continue to add plenty of strength to his frame, and when combined with his athleticism, he could quickly rise up recruiting boards around the country.
The Huskies don't hold any pledges in the 2028 class just yet, but have four three-star linebacker commits in 2027: Ethan and Justin Coach, Isaiah Leilua, and Titus Osterman.
