The Commanders preseason schedule is officially set. The date and time of Washington’s Week 2 exhibition against the Detroit Lions were the only details outstanding, and the team announced them on Tuesday afternoon.
They’ll play the Lions on Aug. 22 at noon ET in a game that will be broadcast locally on WUSA 9, the CBS affiliate in the Washington D.C. media market.
Here’s the preseason schedule in its entirety:
Week 1: vs. Miami Dolphins, Aug. 14 at 7 p.m. ET
Week 2: at Detroit Lions, Aug. 22 at noon ET
Week 3: at Baltimore Ravens, Aug. 28 at 7 p.m. ET
All three games will be on WUSA 9.

The Commanders have also scheduled a pair of joint practice dates around these preseason affairs. They’ll host a joint practice with the Dolphins on Aug. 12 at the Commanders’ training facility. They’ll also conduct a joint practice with Baltimore on Aug. 26, per The Athletic, on Aug. 26 in Owings Mills, Maryland, where the Ravens train.
