April 15 is a big day in America. That's the deadline for every American to file their income taxes. For the Washington Commanders, it's an even bigger day. The Commanders are set to reveal their new uniforms on Wednesday, April 15.

However, Homage, an NFL-licensed clothing company based in Columbus, Ohio, unveiled a new Washington-themed sweatshirt on Tuesday night. The image didn't last long, and the release appeared to be a mistake, as it was quickly removed. But, as we all know, an image lasts forever once it hits the Internet.

First, here's a message from an X user stating that the following image was posted and then deleted. Here's the image:

Zach Cohen of FanDuel, who has broken numerous stories regarding logos and uniforms, responded.

I can confirm: this WILL be a new Commanders alternate logo, to be unveiled tomorrow with the new burgundy jersey and updated black uniform https://t.co/sY7mPo6gU2pic.twitter.com/uC9UxFqU0y

Well, of course, this sent Commanders' social media into a tizzy. Many were unhappy. Many thought it looked like a five-year-old child designed it, while others simply thought it was better than that bungled 2022 rebranding effort.

Cohen is almost always accurate. Of course, this doesn't mean that this will be Washington's primary logo. It could be on an alternate helmet or on the sleeves. The reveal is scheduled for 10:00 a.m. ET on Wednesday.

This shouldn't be completely dismissed because Homage is an official partner of the NFL. The Commanders, of course, did not respond to any of this, instead posting another hype message.

Everyone should relax.

But, we'll leave you with this. This reaction was hilarious.

One thing is certain: Half the fan base will love it, the other half will hate it. That's America in 2026.
