Former Tigers Jack Clark and Chase Hunter connected on a highlight for Golden State Warriors Gold, with Clark launching a long overhand pass from one end of the floor to the other to set up Hunter for a layup.

Golden State posted the play with a fitting caption: “Touchdown Chase Hunter.”

Clark fired the ball ahead like he was trying to hit a receiver in stride, and Hunter did the easy part by leaking out, catching it and finishing at the rim.

It was a small play in a Summer League game, but from a Clemson angle, it was a pretty cool one. Hunter spent six years with the Tigers and became one of Brad Brownell’s most trusted guards. Clark’s Clemson stay was shorter, but he was still part of the 2023-24 team with Hunter that reached the Elite Eight before finishing his college career at VCU.

Hunter finished with four points, two rebounds, and two assists in 24 minutes while shooting 1-for-7 from the field. Clark had a cleaner night, scoring seven points on 2-for-3 shooting, hitting both of his three-point attempts, and adding five rebounds, an assist, and two blocks in 21 minutes.
