For the Golden State Warriors, no offseason conversation has been larger than that of Steve Kerr's future.
After 12 seasons and four NBA Championships as a coach, Kerr is still deciding whether or not to return to the franchise for the 2026-27 season.
However, according to Marc Stein, Golden State's owner Joe Lacob gave a vague time frame on the decision-making process recently, saying that Kerr's status could be determined "today, tomorrow or in three weeks."
Stein also pointed out that the two sides have engaged in discussions "all week."
While nothing has been made official yet, many sources close to the team now believe that Kerr will return.
