@Russ Smith

It sounds like Steve Kerr wouldn't leave coaching the Warriors while Stephen Curry is around.

It shouldn't be viewed as Booker versus Green. Plus, they need the bench to contribute more. The Suns were blessed all the starters stepped up tonight.

Very good point here, especially since they're our starting back court and #1 and #2 in the pecking order. Book is at his best when he's able to take over within the flow of the game but isn't the guy to set the flow. Green seems better suited for that. Book seemed a bit out of sorts between his 4th foul call early in the 3rd quarter and then once Green gave us some separation on the scoreboard around 4-5 minutes to go in the 4th. It all ended up working out.

Suns gonna win 2 games against the champs. Jalen Green literally scores 30+ effortlessly. We get healthy...watch out. Thank you KD for the phenomenal JG

I can tell you didn't watch the game . book did get doubled but 10 of his points where from the FT line. One foul should of been a turnover.

indeed. like the prior game, it was not a good shooting night for Booker. But i can't complain because taking only 12 shots and letting the others get off is exactly what he needed to do.

and i can't complain about Ott letting him play 42 minutes because Ott has to keep him happy. Him playing Point-Book, under control, is at least better than full-out Booker-Ball.

if we can get Gillespi and Allen involved more, we might actually win a game or 2 against OKC

Those free throws count as well. If Booker doesn't get double teamed, it would be harder for Green to score.

Goodwin (7-11) had 19 points, 9 rebounds, 2 assists, 6 steals and only 1 turnover.

Goodwin was unreal. He gave Curry fits all game long, SIX steals is crazy stuff.

His work on the offensive glass is bonkers, maybe the best Suns player at that aspect since Marion.

He is the player I am most worried about losing in free agency, but at the same time, the stuff he does isn't sexy... he's a grinder, but a grinder who can also defend guards at a high rate and shoot threes.

If I had to pick between him, Colin and Williams... it's Goodwin.

100% agree. Goody must be the priority.

Yeah He really bothered Curry, made him step out of bounds twice

Green gets all the glory but Goodwin was the dirtworker. 6 steals was huge, and he made several timely threes including that rainbow in the corner off a super quick release. I was worried about his shooting and that he'd be another Okogie, who could make an occasional shot but never when it mattered, but he's been way more reliable on offense.

Many have mentioned it, but the future of the Suns is Maluach and Fleming. I hope they get some non-garbage rotation minutes to begin to understand what playoff basketball is like.

Yeah, the Suns need to go deeper into the bench against OKC.

In regard to Booker, he can score 20 points in his sleep. He knows how to score the easy way or grind it out. Devin is not afraid to step back and let Green or other teammates do the scoring. Some nights he takes the heat from fans because he is not afraid to carry the burden when necessary. Another way to put it, Booker is the straw that stirs the drink.

That's what you got from that? Why do Suns fans actually hate the Suns so much? It's so weird.
How is that hating the suns? Apparently, giving the best team in the league bulletin board material is a wise choice?

i'm glad you admit that he's the straw that stirs the drink, because without CP3 stirring, the Suns org and Booker-Bros are just drinking the PR cool-aid. 9 years of stirring our seasons that end in colossal failures and replacing players and coaches like they were all bad olives in our martinis. The stats reflect that when he scores big we lose more -- because his leadership, decision-making, defense, and salary are poison.

i'm happy if keep him pre-occupied on point until we properly balance out this team with a real starting point guard -- which Gillespi might become if he gets the experience. As is, with Booker, Green, Brooks, Gillespi and anyone we're still really playing small ball and we're not good defensively.

Right. But brooks has a knack for bringing unnecessary negative attention to the team
How? Because you don’t like something he said? What is this negative attention you are referring to?

Nationally we’ve been treated pretty positively this entire season. Maybe even more than we deserve.

We have a winning record when he score 35+. You are relying on something you saw once about averages and never looked deeper.

35+? that's the same cherry picking tactic AZ TV uses. that conveniently leaves out the much more common range of 25 - 35

and, btw, i believe where i saw the stat about when he scores more, we lose more, was from YOU. But why speculate? Look up the Suns record and Booker's scoring average before FEB 1 and after FEB 1.

Yes, it was early in the season when I noted that and largely irrelevant. Now you're shifting the goalposts to a different narrative to reinforce your own bias.
