With a 3-2 lead in their first-round playoff matchup against the Houston Rockets, the Golden State Warriors will be looking to book their spot in the Western Conference Semifinals on Friday, May 2. Steve Kerr's team stumbled in game five, failing to close out the series while losing 131-116 to Ime Udoka's team. Now, with the Warriors back at the Chase Center, they will undoubtedly be hoping home-court advantage puts this series to bed.

After missing game five due to illness, it would appear that Jonathan Kuminga will be cleared to participate in Friday's game. According to The Athletic's Anthony Slater, Kuminga was dealing with a migrane but has since recovered.

Kuminga has played in two of Golden State's five postseason games so far, averaging 9 points, 2 assists and 2 rebounds. Kerr has opted to keep Kuminga on the bench at times. However, his athleticism, defense and rim pressure could be valuable tools off the bench in what projects to be a highly competitive game.

Jonathan Kuminga had a migraine yesterday, feeling better today, per Kerr. He will be available for Game 6.

Kuminga is heading into restricted free agency this summer. As such, he will have additional motivation to impress throughout the postseason. After all, a big performance in a closeout game would certainly help boost his value around the league.

The Warriors will tip off at 9 PM Eastern, as they look to avoid the dice roll of a game seven.
