The Golden State Warriors' bench will be light on Wednesday night for Game 5 against the Houston Rockets. After getting Jimmy Butler back from an injury for Game 4, the Warriors will be without fourth-year forward Jonathan Kuminga in Game 5.
Prior to tipoff in Game 5 on Wednesday, the Warriors ruled out Kuminga due to an illness.
After falling out of the rotation, Kuminga entered Game 2 after Jimmy Butler exited the contest with a pelvic contusion injury. In Game 2, Kuminga notched 11 points on 4-of-12 shooting in 26 minutes.
In Golden State's Game 3 win, Kuminga tallied seven points on 3-of-7 shooting from the floor in 17 minutes.
With Butler back in Game 4, Kuminga didn't enter the game. The Warriors will likely continue to stick with Gary Payton II and Gui Santos off the bench at the wing position.
Game 4 is set to begin at 4:30 p.m. PT on Wednesday night in Houston.
