"negotiations"..not an offer but it's more than any other QB is getting here huh? Also looks like Brad Johnson is "interested" in AZ but isn't planning a visit? Don't get that either

Kurt, we will give you $1 million a year. Make that $2 million if you promise not to bring your wife out here or mention God during an interview.

No, The Devil would have put him on the Raiders and have them win a Superbowl.

Cards want Warner because of the new offensive coordinator...who came from Vermeil's offense.....which won a Superbowl with Warner. Warner already knows Vermeil's vertical offense and has been successful in it. We'd have a QB already ahead of the curve. I like the move.

I never really thought of that. Very good point!

Great insight

But all I'd offer him is 365 cans of chunky soup for Kurt, brenda, and their kids.

Actually it was Martz's version of Don Coryell's vertical offense that was implemented under DV's watch, but I know what you're saying.

The thought of Warner ending up with the Cardinals worries me as a rams' fan. While it is doubtful that he will ever play like he did from 99-01, from watching him play in NY last year, I thought that he looked pretty good considering the state of the o-line and the declining skills of his WR corps. Throw Warner in with that freak show stable of talented young WR's that the cardinals have, draft the best RB available with the first pick and I can't see how the cardinals offense wouldn't be vastly improved.

I've been posting this for a couple of seasons, but I think that this would be an exciting time to be a cardinals' fan.

I thought we were running Dennis Green's offense from Minny... :stupid:

The problem as it seems to be at every stop with Kurt is that of keeping him upright....If we do not fix the right side of our line...none of our Qbs will be successful and our wideouts will still be throwing there hands in the air because no one can get the ball to them.

Yes, but from everything that I have been reading about the Cardinals' offseason indicates that upgrading the o-line is a priority. Bringing in Oliver ROss seems like a good start.

What I'm hoping is that Warner's reputation - for holding onto the ball too long and being a sitting duck back there - is more a function of the after-affects of his concussion 2 years back (these things can linger for as long as two years) rather than an erosion of skills as he got older.

Some Cardinal fans will recall that Lomax had a year like that after his concussion.

Hopefully, Kurt will bounce back and his reflexes will be back to normal.

That's my main concern.

Because it gets tiresome. I dont really care what your religious beliefs are, thats great that you have them, I dont need you to share it with me all the time. Its just like when guys in locker rooms constantly brag about their "heterosexual encounters"- people engage in it to find acceptance (or possibly convince themselves due to internal conflict). Must I engage in talks of all my lewd and adventurous sexual conquests of the female species from inception to date to convince everyone around that I am definitly heterosexual? Or must I be heterosexual to be accepted? Not everyone has the same beliefs, and again, it gets old for people to overstate their beliefs, and possibly uncomfortable for people who dont share the same. What if i said, "jesus whatever! What has he done for me!" I can think of a lot worse, hopefully you get my drift w/o me shoving it out there. You would be PO'd, much like your post already insinuates.
