The Arizona Cardinals announced Wednesday, Sept. 13, that QB Kurt Warner was named NFC Offensive Player of the Week for Week 1. Warner threw for 301 yards on 23-of-37 passing with three touchdowns and a quarterback rating of 114.8.

I would like to see a defensive or special teams player of the week next week but not Rackers ... maybe a KO or punt returned for TD! Nothing against Rackers but it means he probably kicked 15 FG. Nothing wrong with that as long as it is in addition to 5 TD.
