The polls are open!

It's time to vote for the Halifax Health Volusia-Flagler Girls Athlete of the Week for the week of March 2-7.

Last week, Spruce Creek track and field athlete Jada Hawkins captured the honors, claiming 40% of the votes. Looking to increase her strength and endurance, the junior pivoted from her usual 400-meter run to the 800-meter at the Craig Speziale Memorial Invitational and established a personal-best time of 2:19.77. That ranked her as the runner-up.
