Here is The Arizona Republic's 2025-26 All-Arizona Girls High School wrestling team, followed by honorable mentions and Coach of the Year. The 12 All-Arizona players (listed alphabetically) also are nominees for Player of the Year, which will be announced in a later story. They were selected with coaches' input and consideration of state championship performances.
Tucson Sunnyside High School won the team Division I championship, while Queen Creek Crismon won the Division II championship.
The Republic sports staff will select the girls' wrestler of the year, but readers can offer their opinion in the poll below, which closes on April 4 at noon. Print readers can find the poll online with this story at azcentral.com/sports/high-schools.
Brylee Colwell, Eastmark, Jr.: Won the Division II state title in the 140-pound class for her second straight championship. Finished the season 30-1.
Rebekah Hodges, Campo Verde, Sr.: Won the Division I state championship in the 134-pound class and finished the season undefeated at 40-0.
Kaiya Johnston, Casteel, Jr.,: Won the D-I state title in the 154-pound class and finished the season undefeated at 39-0.
Khyla Lipumano, Yuma Catholic, Sr.: She won her second state title in the D-II 102-pound class and finished 45-5. She also won the title in the 2023-24 season and finished runner-up in 2024-25.
Hannah Naccarati-Cholo, Basha, So.: Won the D-I state title in the 122-pound class, finishing the season 48-0 with 44 pins. It was her second straight state title.
Madelyn Oliver, Benjamin Franklin, Jr..: She won her third straight title in the D-II 167-pound class at the state tournament, finishing 31-1 on the season. She's a second-time Republic All-Arizona selection.
Rebekah Ponce, Desert Ridge, Jr.: Won the D-I state championship in the 102-pound class and finished the season with a remarkable 60-1 record.
Isabella SantaMaria, Walden Grove, So.: Won her second straight state title, in D-II, 145-pound class, finishing 14-1. Last year she attended Cienega and won the D-I title in the 145-pound class as a freshman.
Faith Stevenson, Liberty, Jr.: Won her second straight state title in the D-I 187-pound class, finishing the season 41-3.
Elizabeth Valenzuela Smith, Pueblo, Jr.: She won her third consecutive D-I state title, this time in the 116-pound class, finishing the season 45-1. She made The Republic's 2024-25 All-Arizona team as well.
Daesiah Varner, Cienega, Jr.: She won her third consecutive state championship in the D-I, 237-pound class and finished the season undefeated (36-0). This is her second consecutive year on The Republic's All-Arizona team. She was an honorable mention as a freshman in 2023-24.
Ruthie Wilhelm, Show Low, So.: Won her second straight state championship in the D-II, 109-pound class, finished the season 43-1.
Honorable mentions: Athea Valenzuela, Desert Ridge; Kiyah Jeske, Maricopa; Jaylean Alfaro, Riella Garza, Alezandra Robles, Sunnyside; Miah Johnson, Casteel; Chloe Gastrost, Centennial; Brisa Gonzalez, Round Valley; Roxy Robinson, Tynlee Petersen, Madison Maselli, Crismon; Ariana Thomas, Marcos de Niza; Annette Preston, Somerton; Jessence Octavio-Callejo, Rio Rico; Peityn Codding, Wickenburg.
Coach of the Year: Jake Allen, Queen Creek Crismon: He led the Rattlers to the Division II state championship in just the school's fourth year. Crismon defeated second-place Somerton by a 154-105.5 score, according to the Arizona Interscholastic Association. The team had three wrestlers win D-II titles in their weight classes: Roxy Robinson, Tynlee Petersen and Madison Maselli.
