The Alabama high school football season is around the corner and the Gadsden Times is letting fans vote for who they think is the top team in the area.
Last year, Coosa Christian brought home the first state title in program history, winning the Class 2A title. Piedmont, Plainview and Pisgah both made it to the semifinals, capping off a strong year for the area. The season can officially start on Aug. 20, with most teams starting Friday Aug. 21 or the following week. The football championships will be in Mobile for the first time and will run Dec. 2-5.
The voting will last through noon CT on Aug. 19. You can vote once a day.
