The Kitsap Sun's weekly online poll for readers to vote for the top high school athletes is looking for your vote on noteworthy recent performances, in our last planned regular poll for the school year. Athletes are nominated by their respective coaches based on their performances from the previous week's events.
The poll will appear online each Wednesday and votes will be tallied through Friday at 10 a.m. The top boy and girl in the total vote will be declared spring athletes of the week.
This week's nominees, based on their performances during the week of May 18-13, are Bainbridge's Trey Thompson, Bremerton's Adaiya Thomas and Samantha Stevens, Central Kitsap's Scarlett Mabe, Klahowya's Carson Wintch and Macayla Wrataric, North Kitsap's Paige Zambardo, North Mason's Madi Morris and Olympic's Aidan Woods.
We'll announce the winners this week after the poll closes Friday.
