Vote now for the candidates in the Wooster Daily Record Athlete of the Week poll.

The performances in the poll are from May 11-16. The poll will run from 4 a.m. Monday to 5 p.m. Wednesday.

Athlete of the Week candidates​


Mark Lorson, Orrville boys and track and field

At Thursday's Principals Athletic Conference track meet, Lorson won both the long jump (20-10.50) and high jump (6-07.50). Lorson's high jump of 6-07.50 set a new PAC meet record and broke the Orrville school record.

Caden Race, Orrville boys track and field

At the PAC track meet on Thursday at Canton South High School, Race won the pole vault (13-0) and the 400 meters (51.47), while finishing second in the 100 meters (11.15) and helped the 4x400 relay team place second.

Isaiah Lee, Smithville boys track and field

At Saturday's Wayne County Athletic League track meet, Lee swept all three sprint events. He won the 100 meters (10.92), 200 meters (21.99) and 400 meters (50.23).

Maddie Kraft, Orrville girls track and field

At Thursday's PAC track meet, Kraft won both the high jump (5-0) and pole vault (9-0).

Camden Hall, Chippewa boys track and field

At Saturday's WCAL meet, Hall won the 110m hurdles (15.78) and high jump (6-5), while finishing second in the 100 meters (11.07).

Haley Bittinger, Norwayne girls track and field

Bittinger won both the shot put (44' 1.25") and discus (132' 10") at the WCAL track meet over the weekend.
