Vote now for the candidates in the Wooster Daily Record Athlete of the Week poll.

The performances in the poll are from Feb 23-28.The poll will run from 4 a.m. Monday to 5 p.m. Wednesday.

Athlete of the Week candidates​

Rebekah Keib, Smithville girls basketball

Keib had a game-high 16 points in Smithville's 43-38 Division VI district final victory over Rootstown on Saturday at Norwayne High School.

Briar Cline, West Holmes girls basketball

Cline finished with 23 points, nine rebounds, three assists and three steals in West Holmes' 49-45 Division IV district final win over Carrollton on Saturday at Dover High School.

Grace Hostetler, Dalton girls swimming

Hostetler earned All-Ohioan honors (top 16 earn All-Ohio; top 8 earn medals) at the Division II swim meet over the weekend. Hostetler placed 11th in 100 freestyle final (53.82) and 16th in the 200 freestyle final (1:58.89).

Anna Pittman, Waynedale girls swimming

Pittman earned All-Ohio honors at the Division II swim meet, where she placed 15th in the 50 freestyle final (24.91).

Alessandra Gerber, Wooster girls swimming

Gerber earned All-Ohio honors at the Division I swim meet, as she finished 11th in the 100 breaststroke final (1:04.38).
