Summertime in Ocean City, Maryland, means fishing season is in full bloom, as boats and anglers get out on the water in hopes of making some big catches.

While some fish just for the fun of it, both locals and visitors also have the ability to compete in any of the litany of tournaments that Ocean City hosts throughout the summer.

Whether it be the biggest tournament of them all, the White Marlin Open, or other popular tournaments like the Big Fish Classic and Poor Girls Open, there are plenty of opportunities for competition and observation.

Some of the tournaments have already held their competitions this year, while others are set to take place in the coming weeks. As a fan or a competitor, you can vote for your favorite Ocean City fishing tournament in the poll below.

The poll will open Tuesday, June 17, and close at 3 p.m. Friday, June 20, with the winner being announced on Monday, June 23.
