Our All-Scholastic teams for high school spring sports are in the works.

We need your help before they publish. As we've done in the fall and winter seasons, our readers will have a say in who wins player of the year honors in each sport. The list of South Shore boys lacrosse talent has been trimmed down to an even more exclusive, best-of-the-best bunch.

Vote below for the Patriot Ledger/Brockton Enterprise High School Boys Lacrosse Player of the Year. Reader votes will make up 20% of the tally, with our four staff reporters (Chris McDaniel, Eric McHugh, Ryan Vermette and Jason Snow) making up the rest of the vote.

Voting closes Monday, July 13.

Gus Greene, Cohasset​

Senior attack scored the winning goal in the Division 4 state championship with 23 seconds remaining. ... Four-time South Shore League All-Star was also the league MVP this spring. ... Tallied 64 goals and 35 points this season. ... Graduates No. 2 on prorgram's all-time scoring list with 214 goals and 114 assists. ... Three-time lacrosse all-scholastic was a two-year captain.

Jackson Ketchen, BC High​

Junior helped lead Eagles to Div. 1 state championship with upsets over St. John's Prep in the semifinals and Lincoln-Sudbury in the final. ... FOGO was a USA Lacrosse All-American. ... Uncommitted for college lacrosse currently. ... “He’s a bona fide All-American, working Division 1 commits," said BC High coach Marcus Craigwell.

Tommy McCarthy, Hingham​

Junior attackman helped lead the Harbormen to the Div. 2 Elite Eight. ... Scored four goals, including the winner, in a state-tournament win over Westwood. ... Also plays hockey.

Jake McGuirk, Norwell​

Senior attackman graduates with 170 goals and 155 assists in his career. ... Four-year starter and two-year captain. ... Scored 55 goals and 36 assists this season as Clippers reached the Div. 3 semifinals. ... "His gritty style of play has been an example to his peers throughout the season," said Norwell coach Josh Stolp.

Benny Midura, Milton​

Junior goaltender was an All-American and MVP of the Bay State Conference. ... Tallied 246 saves, a 5.8 goals against average and a 68% save percentage this spring. ... Has 693 career saves. ... "Best goalie in the state in my opinion," said Milton coach Dennis Lynch.

Owen Quinn, Scituate​

Senior attackman helped lead the Sailors to consecutive state championships. ... Scored 60 goals and 47 assists this season bringing his career totals to 137 goals and 107 assists. ... Two-time Patriot League All-Star. ... Will play lacrosse at Hampden Sydney College.

Lee Spry, Abington​

Senior midfielder/FOGO was the team MVP this spring. ... Scored 60 goals and 33 assists this season. ... Graduates with 109 goals and 63 assists in his career. ... "His impact as a faceoff specialist as well as being our leading scorer both in goals and overall points, made him the most valuable player on this team," said Abington coach Matt Grafton.

Jonathan Sullivan, Marshfield​

Senior attackman broke the program record for goals with 201 in his career. ... Scored 47 goals and 16 assists this season. ... Graduates with 268 career points. ... Helped Rams reach the Div. 2 semifinals. ... Three-time Patriot League All-Star also plays hockey. ... Will play lacrosse at St. Michael's College.
