It's time to vote for another Moore Mechanical Athlete of the Week for the Petoskey-area.
All results for this week's poll come from Monday, Dec. 8 through Saturday, Dec. 13 from Emmet and Charlevoix Counties.
Congratulations to Petoskey hockey player and Harbor Springs freshman Carter Schlappi on being named the first Moore Mechanical Athlete of the Week for the winter sports season last week.
Schlappi had a great week for the Northmen and earned 43% of the vote for the win.
Athlete, Coach Features: Petoskey-area features on athletes and coaches over the past year
Vote for these athletes from Monday, Dec. 15 to 4 p.m., Thursday, Dec. 18. Look for another Moore Mechanical Athlete of the Week from the Petoskey-area next week.

Makenna Brey, Harbor Springs basketball
Brey had a great opening week for the Rams to bring them to 2-1, scoring 14 vs. Gaylord St. Mary, 11 points vs. St. Ignace and 10 vs. Cedarville.
Kalen Titus, Charlevoix wresting
Titus is off to a big start to the season, winning a match in Petoskey mid-week, before going 5-0 for a 138-pound title in the annual Sault hosted Bridge Brawl.
Lauren LaHaie, Petoskey basketball
LaHie got hot against Menominee and let it fly, hitting five 3-pointers for 17 points in the Friday win. She also had nine points vs. Charlevoix.
Madden Pateman, Petoskey hockey
Pateman helped Petoskey to a 3-0 week with seven goals and one assist. He scored five goals alone against Cheboygan on Saturday.
Taryn Carey, Charlevoix basketball
Carey helped Charlevoix bring in its first win with a 10-rebound effort against Pickford. She also added nine points and 12 boards against Gaylord.
Taiven Wang, Petoskey basketball
Wang continues to play strong defense for the Northmen and added a combined 16 points against Boyne City and Elk Rapids. He also combined for seven rebounds, five assists and two steals.
Addy Burns, Boyne City basketball
Burns helped deliver the first win of the season for the Boyne City girls in Week 1, scoring 14 points in a victory over old rival East Jordan.
