Athlete of the Week is back for the spring season. Each week, we will take a look at the best performances from Gardner-area athletes and readers will get to choose who they think was the best of that week.

Check out the athletes that made the first list of spring 2026 and vote for who you think deserves title of Athlete of the Week for March 30-April 3.

The nominees​

Adam Adams, Quabbin baseball​


Adams tallied seven strikeouts in three scoreless innings to lead the Panthers past Quaboag 12-1 on March 31. He also had an RBI single in the sixth during Quabbin's eight-run rally.

Preston Denio-O'Connor, Narragansett baseball​


Denio-O'Connor was 3-for-3 with three runs in the Warriors' 10-0 win over Worcester North on April 1.

Mia Manca, Narragansett softball​


Manca went 3-for-5 with two runs in Narragansett's 9-3 win over Pioneer Valley on March 30.

Brayden Nally, Oakmont boys lacrosse​


Nally had five goals and an assist in the Spartans' season opener against Tantasqua on March 30.

Abby Rogowski, Quabbin softball​


Rogowski went 4-for-5 with five RBIs to lead the Panthers offensively. In the circle, she also struck out 10 batters in the five-inning game to secure a 21-2 victory over Quaboag on March 31.

Farrah Wojcik, Quabbin girls tennis​


Wojcik started off the tennis season with two victories, on April 1 and 3, as the first singles player. Both her wins helped Quabbin win the matches to kick off with a 2-0 record.
