It's time to vote for the Montgomery Advertiser's boys Athlete of the Week, presented by the Vance Law Firm for the week of March 7-13.
This week's nominees are a mix of baseball and soccer players that came up big in clutch moments, whether it was defending the goal, or scoring the winning run.
Voting will open Sunday, March 15 and will be open until noon Thursday, March 19. The winner will be announced on Friday, March 20. Nominees are based off of top performers that are sent in by high school coaches or statisticians. Coaches and team stat keepers can send in stats to [email protected] to nominate players.

Montgomery Advertiser's Boys Athlete of the Week nominees presented by Vance Law Firm for March 7-13
- Montgomery Academy's Reid McBride pitched the win in a 10-2 victory against LAMP in its first of two games played in the FCA Tournament. McBride threw six innings and struck out 12. He allowed one hit and no earned runs. In his turn at the plate, he ended the game with two RBIs.
- Opp's Cash Harrell scored the game-winning run in the bottom of the seventh inning in a 5-4 win against Wicksburg on Tuesday. Harrell hit 1-for-3 with a triple, a walk, an RBI and two runs scored.
- Prattville Christian Academy's Landyn Guidry recorded the shutout in goal against JAG on Thursday.
- Montgomery Academy's Grady Ming made 15 saves in a 2-1 win against Dothan on Tuesday night.
