After another amazing week of the high school softball season, it's time to look back on the best performances.
Read about the players who stood out last week and let us know who you think should be the HSS North Jersey Player of the Week in the poll at the bottom of this page.

Buser is back here again after helping the Warriors win the league title. In four games, she had 59 strikeouts in the circle, and also was 5-13 at the plate with two doubles and three RBIs.
The senior batted 9-14 this week with six RBIs and a pair of extra base hits helping send the Marrons to the Bergen Invitational Tournament final.
The junior pitcher went the distance in a seven-inning shutout of Old Tappan in the Bergen County Tournament semifinals allowing just two hits. She was also effective in shorter outings in wins over Park Ridge and Paramus Catholic.
Lembo was the hottest hitter in North Jersey last week. The senior catcher went 14-19 at the playe with seven RBIs and five stolen bases. She became the school’s all-time leader in hits with 118.
Prato helped the Lancers get revenge on West Milford and go on a three-game win streak. She batted 6-11, with six runs scored, five RBIs and a pair of homers.
In a week that included a win over IHA, Saxton went 10-12 in three games with 14 RBIs, six runs scored a pair of stolen bases.
The Knights won five games in five days last week, including wins over Demarest and Northern Highlands. Tripodi went 12-18 at the plate, with nine runs scored, seven RBI and a homer.
The Falcons have been one of the best stories in North Jersey softball. This past week, she went 4-0 in the circle and allowed four runs (online one earned) in 28 innings pitched. She has 258 strikeouts this season.
