There were several standout individual performances across Southwestern Indiana this week. Who gets your vote?

Each week, you can vote for the Courier & Press Athlete of the Week, presented by Orthopaedic Associates. Below you will find the poll for May 18-23 and brief information on each performance. You can vote as often as you'd like until 10 a.m. CT Friday morning.

AJ Baggett, North baseball: The junior allowed two hits and struck out 13 batters in six innings during a win at No. 8 Bloomington South.

Brianna Barrix, Jasper softball: The junior was 6-for-10 with a home run, a triple, two doubles and five RBIs across three games for the Wildcats. Also pitched four scoreless innings with four strikeouts in a win over North.

Grant Boyd, Pike Central track: The senior was a double sectional champion for the Chargers in the long jump (21-7.75) and pole vault (15-9).

Charlie Campbell, Boonville baseball: The senior was 2-for-4 with a home run, pitched four scoreless innings in relief with five strikeouts and scored the winning run in a victory over Southridge.

Castle track 4x400 relay: The team of Bella Cunningham, Sophia Mominee, Jalyn Zaccardelli and Brooklyn Lutz set a sectional record time of 4:01.26 to win at Mount Vernon. The previous record stood since 2003.

Jaron Clutter, Princeton baseball: The senior had 14 strikeouts in a complete-game shutout victory over Wood Memorial.

Bailey McWhirter, Tell City softball: The senior reached base four times, including a home run and double, plus drove in five runs for the Marksmen in a win over South Spencer.

North track 4x400 relay: Darian Walker, Cole McBride, De’Amontey Layne and Dade Waters set a sectional record time of 3:20.09 to win at Central. The previous record stood since 1991.

Audrey Seiler, Tecumseh softball: The sophomore struck out 11 and allowed only two hits in shutout victory over Castle to clinch the Warrick County championship.

Abigail Smith, Mater Dei tennis: The junior earned two victories at No. 2 singles on Saturday (6-0, 6-1 against Reitz and 6-0, 6-0 against North Posey) to help the Wildcats win their fourth straight sectional championship.

Mallory Watt, Princeton track: The senior was a quadruple sectional champion for the Tigers in the 800 (2:24.78), the 1,600 (5:43.84), the 3,200 (12:12.67) and anchoring the 4x400 relay (4:12.09).

Luke Weintraut, Mount Vernon baseball: The senior struck out 11 in a complete-game victory over Norris City-Omaha-Enfield (Ill.) and went 6-for-15 at the plate across four games for the Wildcats.

Jack Wilbourne, Signature School track: The sophomore set a sectional record time of 1:54.56 to win the 800-meter race at Central. The previous record stood since 2014.
