Bayern Munich will see a midfield shakeup in the summer as the club finds a fourth player for the pivot player rotation. An earlier report stated that the club rejected all offers from a host of European clubs for Noël Aséko Nkili because the Bavarians believe that he’s ready for the first team. He’s going to like what comes next.
Kerry Hau from Sky Sports Germany (as captured by X account @iMiaSanMia) reports that Bayern head coach Vincent Kompany is reportedly a big fan of the player and that the club is solidifying its decision to bring the 20-year-old midfielder back after spending time on loan at Hannover 96.
If the coach sees you good enough to make the first team, then that’s massive news for Aséko who has been touted as the next breakout star for Bayern. It remains to be seen whether the club pushes for a midfielder or shift their focus on Givairo Read.
