Tennessee Titans assistant general manager Dave Ziegler joined the organization in 2025 after Mike Borgonzi was hired as the team's general manager. The Titans' 2025 season wasn't one they'd like to remember, but that had more to do with a coaching staff problem than a player-personnel problem. Now, the Minnesota Vikings have requested to interview Ziegler for their vacant general manager position.

The Vikings have requested an interview with Titans assistant general manager Dave Ziegler for their GM job, per source.

Ziegler joined the NFL in 2010 as a player personnel assistant for the Denver Broncos, earning a promotion to scout in 2011-2012. After that, he spent eight years with the New England Patriots, serving in various roles, including Director of Player Personnel. Ziegler left the Patriots in 2022 when he was hired by the Las Vegas Raiders as their general manager. He was let go after two seasons, spending the 2024 season as personnel advisor for the New Orleans Saints prior to being hired by the Titans.

It is unclear if the Titans will grant the Vikings' interview request or when said interview might take place if approved. But the Titans may soon be searching for a new assistant general manager if the Vikings interview and hire Ziegler.
