We are in the dog days of summer when it comes to the National Football League. OTAs are starting to begin, but once they are completed, we will have very little football until training camp begins. There's no better alternative during this time than fantasy football. Is it too early to be having your drafts? Probably. But it is not too early to begin doing your research, and the Minnesota Vikings quarterback situation is one to monitor, according to Bleacher Report.

Alex Kay of Bleacher Report released an article going over the biggest fantasy football storylines as we head into OTAs, and the Vikings quarterback competition is one to watch, as it pertains to both drafting a quarterback and Justin Jefferson's value in redraft leagues.

"The Minnesota Vikings have a QB controversy to sort out after signing Kyler Murray. Minnesota pounced on the 2019 Offensive Rookie of the Year following his release from the Arizona Cardinals, giving the club a two-time Pro Bowler to push J.J. McCarthy for the QB1 role."

The Vikings have the skill players to support a quarterback in fantasy, but does the quarterback have the ability to capitalize the way Sam Darnold did? Time will tell, but they have a chance to become a real steal in fantasy drafts this Summer.
