The NFL's international game series is always a controversial one for teams and fans alike.

Fans enjoy it because it allows them to see their team play a bit earlier on a Sunday, but it can also take away a home game from them in some cases. On the flip side, there are also the issues that arise for teams, such as the jetlag that can occur and the schedules that get thrown off. Of course, the NFL keeps teasing a team being put into Europe as the market continues to expand and they are testing the waters on it when the Vikings make history this year.

The NFL announced its international schedule on Tuesday morning, and with it, they confirmed the Vikings will make history when the team travels to Ireland to face off against the Steelers in Dublin. They will then travel to London to play the Browns the following week to complete a never-before-done two-week slate of games for a team overseas.

The Vikings will not lose any home games, as each game will be considered a home game for the Steelers and Browns.

Dublin then London!

While we do not know the Vikings remaining schedule, the Vikings will most likely receive a Bye Week following this international travel for two weeks, unless Roger Goodell exposes himself to be a sleeper agent for the Packers in the next 24 hours.
