Get outta here!
Ultimate Fighting Championship (UFC) Middleweight champion Sean Stricklandwas not invited to the historic one-of-one UFC Freedom 250 event, but that did not stop him from showing up in Washington, D.C., and causing havoc for a couple of days.
First, Strickland showed up at Friday’s press conference (watch here), only to get recognized by fans and forced to literally flee the scene as crazed fans chased after him. He later revealed that he “almost died” if it were not for local law enforcement stepping in (details here).
Then, on Saturday, UFC held a fan festival full of guest fighters, podcasts, booths, vendors — you name it — and Strickland decided to bum-rush the event.
The foul-mouthed champion ran into a ring that had been set up for photo ops, and Logan Paul, who was on-site filming for his Impaulsive podcast, caught the moment Strickland entered and bombarded the festival.
In the clip, Strickland takes a fan’s drink and pours it all over his face as the crowd chants, “U.S.A.! U.S.A.!”

Strickland’s shenanigans did not last long because he was quickly escorted out of the event.
Early reports claimed Strickland had been arrested and charged with disorderly conduct, but TMZ later reported that he was not arrested or cited. Instead, he “was advised not to return to the venue for his own safety and the safety of event patrons.”

So, no arrest — just another completely normal Sean Strickland weekend.
Nevertheless, now that we do not have to listen to Strickland rant about the White House event anymore, he can focus on fully recovering from his title win last month before eventually returning to action later this year.
