WASHINGTON – UFC Freedom 250 ceremonial weigh-ins are in the books, and the fighters came face-to-face one final time before Sunday's monumental event.
The weigh-ins took place at the Ellipse, which is nearby the White House, which hosts Sunday's card (Paramount+).
UFC Freedom 250 is built around a pair of championship fights: Lightweight champ Ilia Topuria (17-0 MMA, 9-0 UFC) takes on Justin Gaethje (27-5 MMA, 10-5 UFC) in a title unification headliner, while Alex Pereira (13-3 MMA, 10-2 UFC) and Ciryl Gane (13-2 MMA, 10-2 UFC) battle for interim heavyweight gold in the co-main event.
The featured bout features former bantamweight champion Sean O'Malley (19-3 MMA, 11-3 UFC) vs. Aiemann Zahabi (14-2 MMA, 8-2 UFC), while the rest of the card includes Josh Hokit (9-0 MMA, 3-0 UFC) vs. Derrick Lewis (29-13 MMA, 20-11 UFC), Mauricio Ruffy (13-2 MMA, 4-1 UFC) vs. Michael Chandler (23-10 MMA, 2-5 UFC), Bo Nickal (8-1 MMA, 5-1 UFC) vs. Kyle Daukaus (17-4 MMA, 4-4 UFC) and Diego Lopes (27-8 MMA, 6-3 UFC) vs. Steve Garcia (19-5 MMA, 8-2 UFC).
