Video of Diego Pavia at Ravens rookie minicamp shows the problem with Vandy QB originally appeared on The Sporting News. Add The Sporting News as a Preferred Source by clicking here.
The problem wasn't hard to see.
The video clip from Baltimore Ravens rookie minicamp was simply of Pavia pantomiming a couple of quarterback motions. He doesn't even throw the ball, but it doesn't take much to see.
Pavia isn't wearing pads, and he looks visibly short and squat:

So many NFL QBs look the part.
Pavia doesn't.
"Built like a fullback lol," wrote one comment below that post.
And, well, they've got a point.
Pavia measured 5-foot-9 at the Senior Bowl. That would make him the shortest QB currently in the NFL.
He's also not a skinny, speedy fella.

Pavia is athletic, and he showed his running ability at Vandy, so he makes his frame work for him.
But would it ever really work in the NFL? That's much harder to know.
He went undrafted, and he signed with the Ravens to try and chase a spot as either QB3 or on the practice squad.
It's going to be a tall task.
