If this team goes 6-10, assuming no much greater than average share of the inevitable injuries, I will be extremely dissapointed.

I am tired of hearing from a variety of national, unbiased sources that he Cardinals have more talent than a 5 or 6 win team.

I am also tired of watching teams with no more talent (and arguably less in some cases) than the Cardinals -- like last year's Packers, 49ers, Jets, Rams, Chiefs, Vikings, Titans all somehow come up with more wins -- many of them while playing a more difficult schedule.

My over/under is 8 wins. Anything less than that is a huge dissapointment.

6-10 is better than our last two efforts.

Whoa!, if you think we have a thoroughbred speed team, or Haw!, if you think this team is made up of strong mules. I see neither yet. Too much spiked kool-aid being imbibed here. Shane gets it.

Whisenhunt has never been a head coach and he worked for a boss, Cowher, who didn't nurture a single other good head in 18 years at Pitt.

Show me first. We are now a run first team without a speed runner. James is a plodder. Shipp can't take a lot of punishment and usually breaks down. JJ is soft.

Show me first. We are now a 3-4 team without proven 3-4 personnel.

Show me first. Leinart is in second system in two years and has shown some fragility.

Smells to me like a 6-10 rebuild year. Granted, I am tentatively optimistic too. Just not ready to identify the critter we have to ride this year.

The cardinals are a 5-11 team until proven otherwise. The Cardinals have 2 direction to go side-ways and up. I choose to believe they are going climb out that canyon that they dug over the decades. It is a long way up, but not impossible.

The key to climbing out of this canyon is the new stadium. It's funds allowed the cardinals to get a new training Facility. Just a sign of things to change.

:newcards:

Cardinals head coach Ken Whisenhunt decided to mix things up after Thursday afternoon's OTA's by having the offensive linemen go against the defensive linemen in a punt catching contest.

The players responded and loved the friendly competition.

Click here to watch the contest!

The Cards are an 0-0 team until the games begin.

This team isn't last year's team. Will it be the same or better is the question, but you can't say what kind of a team they are. Several changes took place at enough key areas to give them a blank slate.

I expect 8 wins this year, personally.

I will let you use the coaches and players terminology for the offseason. Personally you are only as good as your record indicates. 5-11 two season in a row tells me that the cardinals are a 5-11 team until proven otherwise. I expect a better record this season. I expecting the cardinals to make it to the playoffs like I do every season. 10-6 should win the division this season. Hopefully that 10-6 season will finally come true for the cardinals.
