Missouri transfer guard TO Barrett has committed to Vanderbilt basketball, he announced via social media April 22.

The 6-foot-4 Barrett played in 33 games and started 14 as a sophomore in 2025-26, averaging 8.6 points, 2.7 rebounds and three assists per game. For the Commodores and coach Mark Byington, he projects as guard depth and a backup ball-handler, the same role that Frankie Collins had to start the 2025-26 season before his injury.

Barrett shot 20.5% from 3-point range in 2025-26 with a 46% overall field-goal percentage and a 77.6% free-throw percentage. He had 99 assists and 69 turnovers.

Barrett is the second transfer to join Vanderbilt from another SEC school after the Commodores also added Sebastian Williams-Adams from Auburn.

Vanderbilt other transfers are center Bangot Dak of Colorado, forward Berke Buyuktuncel of Nebraska and guard Ace Glass of Washington State.
