All Vanderbilt sports teams will have a jersey patch in 2026-27 sponsored by SRM Concrete, the athletic department announced in a release July 21.
SRM Concrete also sponsors the end-zone suites at FirstBank Stadium. But now, the company will become more visible with the jersey patches. The partnership will also provide NIL opportunities for Vanderbilt athletes, according to the release.
Jeff Hollingshead, the CEO of SRM Concrete, is a Vanderbilt alum.
“As we prepare for a new year of unforgettable moments and inspiring performances, I’m gratified that SRM Concrete will be with us everywhere Commodores compete through these jersey patches,” athletic director Candice Lee said in a statement. “Our student-athletes embody a university committed to setting a new standard for national excellence without sacrificing values forged in the Nashville community we call home. As a company with similar roots and ambitions, SRM Concrete shares our vision for what is possible for Vanderbilt Athletics.”
Commercial patches are allowed on college uniforms for the first time in 2026. LSU is another SEC school that recently announced a corporate jersey patch sponsor.
