The American soccer world is starting to get behind the USMNT ahead of their massive journey this summer, and their World Cup jerseys are becoming a widely-discussed topic on social media.
A random grocery store broke the news of which jerseys the USMNT will be wearing when they play and co-host the 2026 FIFA World Cup.
However, the reactions have been relatively positive so far for Mauricio Pochettino’s team. The U.S.’ World Cup jerseys are a tribute to one of the most popular kits in American men’s soccer history.

The famous ‘Waldo’ jerseys were worn by the U.S. back in 2012 following their run at the World Cup in South Africa. Heading into this summer’s World Cup, Nike is presenting a similar concept with a wavy red and white horizontal design.
The latest USMNT jerseys will surely be a hit amongst fans as Christian Pulisic, Weston McKennie and Co. prepare to take on the biggest World Cup of all-time. For the first time ever, 48 nations are competing at the men’s World Cup, which marks the biggest tournament yet.
Pulisic and the U.S. squad have been placed in Group D alongside Australia, Paraguay and an undetermined UEFA country. The final spot in the group will be decided prior to the tournament during a European playoff.
