As USC men’s basketball enters year two under Eric Musselman, the Trojans continue to turn over their roster. On Friday, that continued with the addition of Utah transfer Ezra Ausar.

After starting his college career at East Carolina, Ausar spent last season in Salt Lake City. He started 29 games for the Utes in 2024-2025, averaging 12.9 points and 5.0 rebounds per contest.

Now, he heads to Los Angeles to join a USC team that will almost certainly look very different in the fall. The Trojans have lost the majority of their production from this past season to either graduation or the transfer portal, but are bringing in several key additions as well.

After a disappointing year one at USC, expectations will be higher for Eric Musselman in his second year on campus. The Trojans will look to make significant improvements on the court in 2025-2026 and rise towards the upper tier of the Big Ten.
