USA TODAY Sports Super 25 boys basketball rankings, Week 5

Last week, Wasatch Academy (Mt. Pleasant, Utah) entered the Super 25 national high school boys basketball rankings just ahead of a clash with then-No.12 Brewster Academy (Wolfeboro, N.H.). The Tigers proved they belong, knocking down a talented team 62-51 to notch another impressive win in a stretch that has included opponents of the caliber of No. 11 CIA-Bella Vista (Scottsdale, Ariz.), previously ranked Bishop O'Connell (Arlington, Va.) and Long Island Lutheran (Brookville, N.Y.).

For that, Wasatch rose several spots into the middle of the Super 25.

Meanwhile, with the CIF Southern Section playoffs are set to begin, Redondo Union (Redondo Beach, Calif.) entered the rankings. With wins against teams like No. 7 Sunnyslope (Phoenix), Notre Dame (Sherman Oaks, Calif.) and Timpview (Provo, Utah), Redondo Union has established itself as a contender in a division that includes No. 6 Sierra Canyon (Chatsworth, Calif.)

Archbishop Stepinac (White Plains, N.Y.) also entered the Super 25 on a 13-game win streak behind McDonald's All Americans Adonis and Darius Ratliff.
