Jack Hughes has propelled himself into a new strata of superstar status in Milan Cortina and now his one-of-one Olympic sports card is about to become an expensive piece of history.
The Team USA gold medal winner scored the decisive goal Sunday to beat Canada and help the U.S. win their first men’s hockey title in over 46 years at the Winter Olympics.
However, after legendary win Hughes added onto his iconic status after writing a special message on a Topps Olympic sports card.

The rare one-of-one hockey card was signed by the NHL star, but in addition to his normal signature he wrote “Golden Goal” and “Go USA!” to mark the occasion.
Hughes and the Americans managed to outlast their Canadian rivals with a thrilling overtime win in the gold medal game. Meanwhile, it was Hughes’ heroics that put Team USA over the top after an onslaught of Canada pressure late on in the matchup.
Hughes gave an epic speech after the game about the importance of being American and how proud he is to have won on a massive global stage with his teammates.
